Who am I on the internet?

As we know from my blog post from a few weeks ago, my name is Morgan Cook and I am a freshman this year at UMW. I find that I am a fairly truthful person when it comes to who I am on the internet, however as we know you can pretend to be anyone on the internet, and make the world think you are completely different than who you are.

A few things about me…

Some things about me that I don’t get to talk about often and aren’t really reflected in my “online persona”, is that I work for Stafford County Circuit Court in their probate divison, and that I love photography.

My Job

Sure, if you are close with me, you know what my job is, but I don’t ever post about my job. It’s not something that people have interest when they are scrolling online. I also thin posts with too much information, when you know someone personally is frowned upon.

My not so secret hobby

Same with photography. Sure, there are photos posted on my instagram, but I dont really take credit for photos I take or do for other people. I mostly do photography for myself, its not something I am formally trained in by any means. I am honestly mostly self taught.

One of my favorite “test subjects”- My brother. This was during photos I made him take for our parents anniversary, in which he fell off the rock I made him sit on.

The point

The point of all of this is to say, you’d never know these very basic things about me just based off of who I show I am online, anyone cant hide any part of themselves on the internet.

Why my domain…

Honestly, I wanted something that was still very me, and would be able to serve me into the future. There is nothing more me than my name.
